  • Thermo Finnigan LLC v. Applera Corp., District of Delaware, No. 04-1505 (on behalf of defendant), involving DNA electrophoresis technology
  • Patent Prosecution – preparing and prosecuting patent applications in technologies such as medical devices, telecommunications, and software. Responding to Office Actions in the USPTO as well as the EPO and WIPO. Drafted numerous successful applications, e.g., US 20060058815 directed towards a medical device for Boston Scientific (numerous claims allowed).

U.S. Naval Academy – Thermodynamics Instructor

  • Directly responsible for the daily operation of the U.S. Naval Academy’s senior level course in thermodynamics. Responsibilities include development of a course schedule, labs, and academic tests for a 400 student course. Supervising all thermodynamics instructors.
